Using ProSalon Software v.1.0
1st - You must
enter the services and products you wish to offer into your free salon
database. It's really simple to do. Just use the add products and
services form to enter the information for each item you wish to
offer, and remember to include your salon Id with each item you
enter, otherwise you won't be able to locate it. We suggest that
you use your salon, or personal, email address as your salon Id
since it is unique. Salon management software made simple and it's
FREE!
TIP: List
services first and then products. Group like services and like
products together so that they will be easier to locate when you
are entering your transaction information.
2nd - Once you
have entered all the items go to the salon search page and type
your salon Id code in the search box. The salon management
software will access your database and display the items you have
entered in a list (this is why you should enter like items
together).
3rd - Click on the
"Add to Purchase" link beneath the items you would like to add to
your transaction. If you want to submit more items click the "Add
More Items" button on the Your Purchase form. When you've
completed adding items click the "Next" button on the Your
Purchase form.
4th - Fill in the
Transaction Information. Add the client's name, address, and the
other info requested. BE SURE TO ENTER THE STYLIST'S NAME in the
space provided.
5th - At the bottom of
the page there is a place to enter a credit card number,
expiration date, and CV code. These are required to establish your
identity (not the client's) and to prevent spamming of your
database. Your credit card will never be charged, nor will your
information be divulged to anyone for any reason. When you're
finished click "CONFIRM."
6th - On the "Confirm
Your Transaction" page check the info you've entered and make any
changes necessary. You will notice that there is a field to the
right of the "Misc" label. If there is any additional fee that you
wish to include you may add it in this box by selecting the text
and typing. BE SURE TO PRESS "ENTER" and confirm that the total
has updated prior to clicking the "FINISH" button.
7th - Click the
"FINISH" button to record your transaction and all the associated
information.
