We are a nationwide network of stylists who are dedicated to creating a more professional salon environment through action within the salon industry. Our goal is to promote professionalism in the salon industry through education, innovation, the establishment of industry- wide standards in technical proficiency, personal artistry, and adherence to ethical business practices. This will be accomplished through online collaboration, educational seminars, public information campaigns, media exposure, coordinated boycotts of detrimental products, and professional demonstrations by our associates. 

In order to be considered as a pro-salon.com associate you must agree to the following:

1. You must be a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician, or massage therapist in good standing in the state where your current license was issued.

2. First do no harm - as a professional stylist you agree to only perform services that will not harm the client or result in irreparable damage to the hair.

3. As a professional stylist you agree to only sell products that will not harm the client or result in irreparable damage to the hair. You agree to only sell the products that will actually benefit the client, not simply to increase sales. 

4. As a professional stylist you agree to never speak negatively of any stylists work, or their person, either to clients, the public, or any other stylist.

5. As a pro-salon.com associate you agree to keep the comments of fellow associates private and confidential at all times. 

6. As a pro-salon.com associate you agree never to reveal the activities or plans of this organization to anyone outside of this organization.

7. As a pro-salon.com associate you agree to work within your community, your local, state, and national government for the repeal of lease station licensing.

8. As a pro-salon.com associate you must attend one pro-salon.com conference each year.

9. As a pro-salon.com associate you must agree to participate in at least one charity fundraising each year.

10. As a pro-salon.com associate you must contribute a minimum annual membership dues of $10.00.

Our associates are top professionals with years of experience in salons and the beauty industry who believe that the industry can only be improved and elevated through the efforts of individual stylists rather than salons or product companies. Association is voluntary and no pro-salon.com associates are paid for their work with pro-salon.com or any of our affiliated charities. Your membership dues are used to pay for the costs of setting up various pro-salon.com events, seminars, demonstrations, classes, etc.
